Urban green delivers cooling and
biodiversity but requires sufficient irrigation. To provide this demand without
adding to freshwater depletion, alternative water resources are needed. To create a shift towards more
sustainable circular practices, a quantification tool has been developed. It
aims to support planning and implement water reuse schemes in the built
environment.Quantifying green infrastructure,
balancing its demand, exploring alternative water resources and developing decision
support are crucial for resilient urban applications and urban development.
